The Panoche Formation

The Panoche Formation is a Cretaceous-age geologic unit in the San Joaquin Valley. Although the Panoche only produces oil and/or gas from a handful of fields in the valley, it is the same age as the main gas-producing interval of the Sacramento Valley in northern California.
