75th Anniversary Logo Design

Coast Geological Society Members,

Congratulations to all of us!  This is the 75 year anniversary of Coast Geological Society here in Ventura, since it's start in 1948. 

In commemoration to the occasion, we are looking for a 75 year logo design.  Anyone is invited to submit a logo design to CGS and are more than welcome to submit multiple designs. First, Second, and Third Place winners will receive Membership and dinner rewards.  We ask that you please submit your CGS logo design to  jtwrockoil@gmail.com by March 31, 2023.

The Selection team will announce the logo winner at our April 18, 2023 meeting.
The logo will be used on our web site, awards, letter head, T-shirts, sweat shirts, stickers, etc...

1st place:
The selected logo artist receives paid up membership in CGS for 3 years; Recognition at the April 18th CGS Meeting; 3 paid dinner/meetings passes; CGS award certificate

2nd place:
Two years paid up membership in CGS; Two paid dinner/meeting passes; Recognition at CGS Meeting;

3rd place
Honorable mention: Receives one year paid up membership; One paid dinner/meeting pass; Recognition at CGS Meeting.

A majority of funds that come from our members and sponsors go to the student scholarship program. Your generous donation helps build our community!
